Friday Feature-Gesso anyone?

Have you discovered gesso yet?  Even after I bought some-I was intimated by it.  Used it strictly for priming my canvas.  But-you can use gesso for a lot of different things.  Today I wanted to share a layout I did where I used it a couple of different ways.

I used it to create interest and dimension to my background paper by putting some on a paper plate and then dipping an old lid into it. See the circle shapes at the top?

Using my finger, I edged each picture with it.

After I had layered my papers and pictures I dipped the end of one of my clear blocks (you use to adhere stamps to it) and it made the double lines you see scattered around the page.

It dries pretty quickly if it's not too thick.  If you have any left over-just put it back in your container. Easy huh?

You can get gesso and other products at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium.  The prices are always discounted.

It's amazing to visit this website and reading the views of all friends regarding this article, while I am also zealous of getting familiarity.
