Fall Colors

Judy Cantrell here, sharing another tag made with those lovely Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamps.
 (link below)

For this tag, I used the width plus 8 1/2" length of tag that comes with the stamp as a template. Heavy card stock was used as base tag.
I covered the tag with a page from the Prima 6 x 6 paper pack. To do this you will need to patch the designer paper to fit tag. You will have a small strip left. When you are finished it's hard to see the seams because you will cover the seams with Tim's paper tape or other paper tape in your stash.
My prima doll stamp was inked with Archival black ink on Strathmore 140lb cold press paper. After it was trimmed close, I used the distress inked applicator to apply color around all edges of doll. Designer paper was used to ink the doll stamp again for the dress. (designer paper from my stash)
Use watercolors to color skin, shoes, hair and ribbon.
Before applying doll image to tag, added one of Tim's paper tape and a polka dot paper tape to the background. Adhere doll stamp.
Two of the flowers were made with Tim's pinecone die. The white flower from my digital die cutter.
Added bling from my stash was added to compliment the tag along with blue vintage trim on top.

Finished size 3 7/8" x 8 1/2"

Supplies:

Prima also has a tag pad that fits these doll stamps.

I love your tag! I hadn't thought about using the tag enclosed for a template-I'll do that next time myself.
Thanks!

NOW, because of your inspiration piece, I'm off to purchase the Prima doll stamps...maybe the tag stamp, too:) Thanks so much for helping me deplete my monthly budget, LOL!

gorgeous tag! I love those stamps but didn't know if I would get much use out of them as I am not a great stamper and don't do well trying to color with those alcohol markers. For some reason I thought they were much larger than a tag size. You're making me very tempted to get one and try it out!
