Tips and Techniques

Today I'll share

Tips and Techniques

Pens:
This tool is indispensable for writing; as well as for making quick sketches.
Pens are capable of producing a variety of texts, tones
and can be used very successfully in careful drawing.

Note: Conventional ballpoint pens are not recommended here because
they are very acidic and the ink never dries.

Gel Pens:
Similar to ball point pens, but with opaque pastel or metallic ink,
these work especially well on dark paper.
Most have fine tips, and many have inks that are acid-free or archival metallic pens.

Save a lot of different widths and sizes of rubber bands on a 2" x 3" piece of wood, Stretch them out, twist some, experiment.
Ink it up, if you like how it looks use it.
Share what you do with your new background stamp.

If you have a brayer that comes apart you can add rubber bands to the brayer and get a different look on your card stock.
