Wax Resist Technique

Tip and Techniques

I was watching a video and came across a cool technique I haven't used in a long time.
She was using plastic stencils as a resist.
I've done this technique years ago with brass stencils.
It was nice to re-visit new ways to use the popular stencils available today.

Supplies:
Stencils
Wax crayons
Watercolors
card stock or tag

Start with the stencil under your paper of choice. Rub a crayon over the area of the stencil.
Any color you choose
Now add watercolors over the waxed area to reveal the stencil and beautiful colors come through.
