Mixed Media Doll Journal Page

I made a spiral journal book; it was created using Strathmore 140 lb. watercolor paper pad, each page was cut down and then bound using my zutter tool. The finished size is perfect for my mixed media.

This page was made with Mixed Media doll stamps, border stamps, and paper paks from Prima.
Vintage photo using foam applicator was used to color the body. Hair was painted with watercolor crayons. The girls were stamped with Archival black ink on Strathmore 140 lb watercolor paper and then cut out. Dresses were made from Prima 6 x 6" paper pads.
I gathered up vintage lace and then added it to back of green dress using hot glue gun.
Distress inks were applied with foam applicator around the tag before adding the little mixed media dolls from Julie Nutting/Prima to page. Glossy Accents was used to apply dolls to journal page.
Two Julie Nutting mixed media stamps, paper pads and Strathmore watercolor paper were used on this project.

In the coming weeks, I'll share more projects using these cute little girl stamps. Check out last weeks project: http://craftingwithowse.blogspot.com/2014/01/life-moments.html
