I watched Eileen’s video over on #Ornamentally Yours Facebook group April 1, 2022. This is what I made after her class and then I made two more frames the next morning, one for me and one for my mom. We will finish those together.

On this one I used silk for a hanger. Tucked down in corner is #eileenhull mandala die 

made to look like a flower holder.

I made several of these using die cut flowers and gave them away as small gifts.

Gel Press Covered Notebook

Stenciled front was made with a gel press printing plate. I made this piece after watching Eileen Hull live video, 2-2022. The inside pages were made using a passport book die. Flower were made using chipboard an L die by Tim Holtz. 

Handmade Gel Printed Books

 I made these books using Sizzix scoreboards xl dies by Eillen Hull. The covers on both books were made with gel printing plates and acrylic paints. The box is also a scoreboards xl die by Eileen Hull.

Die Cut Mandala and Flowers!

 I used Sizzix mandala die by Eileen Hull, Sizzix flower dies, Tim Holtz cling rubber stamp, distress crayons and Jane Davenport palette to color flowers. 

Display Stand

I used the Display Stand scoreboards xl die to make both of these pieces for my sisters. I used supplies from my stash to complete the front.  for shipping. 

Christmas Cards 2019

These are some of the Christmas Cards I made this year. I used card stock, die cuts, 3 D embossing folder, and stamps to make these cards. I finished and sent them out the first week in December. 

Leather Journals with Signatures

These are some of the leather die cut journals I made this week. 
The top row; Passport scoreboard XL die by Eileen Hull. 
Bottom row; Notebook L die by Eileen Hull. 
The brown leather I used didn't need anything extra since it had lots of body and in one piece. On the black and off-white journals I used a small piece of chipboard down the center of the spine. I used my Passport die and paper to make the signature pages. 

Valentine's Card

I made this for my Happy Valentine card this year. Its not your typical type for February 14 card. I used  one of my crimpers and rubber stamp for the background. Foreground I used TH stamp and flower die-cuts, plus Dina Wakley washi tape on fold. 

Handmade Card

I made this card using embossing folder, thinlits dies and rubber stamps. Along with archival inks, distress inks and watercolors. 

Christmas Cards

After thanksgiving I started making a few Christmas cards, here are some of the ones I mailed out. A few of these were card front applied to a folded card. I used watercolors to paint these stamped images. I inked all images with black archival ink.

Handmade Santa

I started making the Santa dolls as soon as I finished a wool tapestry stocking for my mother.

My 9" Santa doll was made with muslin and vintage wool felt. I've had the felt many years and wish I had more now. I used muslin to cut-out doll pattern, hand sewed and stuffed, next I applied white gesso to head, hands and feet. I used Dina Wakley acrylic paint on feet to look like shoes. The hand were left white. The face was painted with a watery magenta scribble stick by Dina Wakley. Two dots for eyes were made with a Sharpie. A tiny bell was handsewn on the hat. All clothing was handsewn. The hair and beard was made using Bernat yarn.

Tapestry Wool Stocking for My Mother

I started working on this Bucilla stocking from a tapestry kit the first of August 2018. I didn't think it was possible to finish before Christmas this year. I was making the stocking for my dear mother. She turned 93 this year.
I took the first photo, August 18, as you can see I hadn't added that much wool yarn. It was slow going adding wool yarn. The finished stocking is 18" long.

Mom said she didn't want her name on it. I worked on the stocking nearly every day. This was my first tapestry. I stretched the tapestry to a 14x18" wood picture frame, that didn't work very well, so I purchase a frame made for tapestry work. It worked much better.

November 17 I finished the stocking and took the photo below. In a few days we will be taking this stocking to my mothers. I lined the stocking in black fabric. The back is black felt. I finished it by hand stitching. 

Handmade Bears

While recouping from pacemaker and other health issues I made a lot of felt bears. Most of these bears have gone to family near and far. These bears are 5 inches tall if they could stand up. To make these tiny bears I have to use magnifying glasses because I can't see the stitches without them. 

The graduate bear (below) was made for one of our granddaughters that graduated from her two year college this year.

The last bear (below) I hand-stiched a dress and a made a red felt bow with white curls in her hair. I made this bear for my 92 year old mother. 

It takes me 6-8 hours to cut-out and hand-stitch one bear and longer if I make hand stitched clothing.

The bears I made were blue, red, purple, burgundy, grey, beige, teal, cream, medium brown and dark brown. 

Update: It's now August 10, I finished my last bear (No. 25) to give to my husband he wanted a blue bear and then I shipped out two bears one to Arkansas and and one to Wyoming. They were just like the bear below. 

This is something I made recently

I've been crafting since childhood, making stuffed dolls and animals from early 70's and stamping since the early 90's. I've been published on paper magazines many times but nothing recently because I haven't tried.
In 2004, I was asked to join SSReflections online magazine, I purchased some of the books and DVDs while others were supplied for me to do book and DVD reviews.
Some of the supplies were furnished to do monthly samples from each team member.
After SSReflections closed 2009, I joined Rubber Road Adventures where I did projects for online and major companies in industry. When they closed I didn't join another online magazine.
Although I have been a design team member for several stamp companies.

Moving on....
A couple weeks ago I saw someone show a project on Facebook. The comment was made; "you had to go to her class to see how she made the booklet"
Now, this is where it comes to my mind, I know that I've made that booklet in the past or something very similar to it. And then it came to me it's similar to a star book I made years ago. 
I won't be showing how I made this booklet but will show the first two pages. I have four pages but this will be the only one I will share for now. Small tags come out through the top of each page.
Oh, by the way, this was made this past week!

Watercolor Birds and Flowers

I saw Brandi Dayton's Birds and Bees video. She shares 5 videos how to make her lovely piece. Here is my watercolor piece on an 8" by 10" 140 lb. watercolor paper. 

I added Pearl Pen from Viva on my birds and flowers. 

More Fabric Flowers

I've been on the hunt for small vases to use with my fabric flowers. The vases I use are 4 to 6 inches tall. 

My flowers are small! The range from 1.5" to 2.6" 

I used Spellbinder die by Tammy Tutterow to make the flowers! 

Stamens were used as a center on flowers

 Small wedding flower were used as a stamen on a few flowers, I like using tiny stamen the best

Fabric Flowers by Judy Cantrell

These are some of the crinoline and buckram fabric flowers I've made since December 19, 2016. I used two Spellbinder die sets by Tammy Tutterow; Shabby Posies and Pom Pom Posies.

Sharing a card I made with my Gelli Printing Plate and a few rubber stamps. The round of roses stamp was inked with Memento black and then Copic markers were used to color image. 

Fabric Tool Holders

I saw an email post about cuffed bins a few day ago. From that post I got out my sewing machine and linen fabric to make these tool holders. I plan on making more for my Copic markers.
