Girls Night Out

I love making tags with Julie Nutting paper doll stamps by Prima.

This is my first tag shared last month on Crafting with OWSE using the lighter version of spray:
http://craftingwithowse.blogspot.com/2014/05/mothers-day-stenciled-background-tag.html
And now I'll share the second tag.

As you can see the tag above is much darker in color than the first tag shared May 6.
Place two manila tags onto craft sheet, hold stencil a little above first tag, spray a small portion on first tag and then careful flip the wet sprayed stencil directly on the second tag and pat, remove, wipe excess off with a cloth each time before processing with spray on first tag until you get about one half of tag covered with light color of spray, now spray with darker color of spray using the same technique you used with the light color. When spraying and flipping try moving the stencil in a different direction each time, this will give you tag a unique look.
Some areas can be left blank, use foam applicator with distress ink on outside edges.
 Set aside to dry both.
If you missed my first tag please go look at it: link above.

To finish,
I applied two Julie Nutting doll stamped images that I dressed with scrapbook papers and then added Prima flowers to the tag. Distress Stickles were added over her painted shoes, buttons and hair band on one paper doll.
I stamped shoes, and dress from scrapbook paper on other paper doll.
I used Archival sepia ink with clear stamp from my stash on the tag to finish.

You will find the inks, spray inks, Julie Nutting paper doll stamps, Tim Holtz stencils, Prima flowers, Distress stickles, watercolors, scrapbook papers, and more in the Emporium:

Thanks for a new technique of holding the stencil a little above the tag...gotta try it!
