Memory Box dies and Gelatos

I hope you and your family had a great Christmas!

1 wanted to share some Memory Box die cuts today.
Here's a few that I have.  They are so intricate.  They turn out so well!
Here's a gift bag project I did.  Started by mixing some blue ink with some medium modeling paste.
Smeared over top of a brick wall stencil and allowed to dry overnight.
Using Faber Castel gelatos, I colored in between the brick with a paintbrush.
I dabbed some yellow and gold gelatos on most of the flower frame die cut.  Blended with my paintbrush.
I printed a FREE digital print from Graphic Fairy.
To adhere my pieces, I used Scrap Dots under the digital image after I fussy cut it.  I used Scotch quick dry glue on the other pieces.
You can see the dimension of the scrap dots on this side shot.  I love how it raises it as high as you like.
I used the gelatos to make my letters. I rubbed the gelatos directly on the foam letters and then dabbed it lightly onto a damp paper towel.  The water helps activate the colors.  I stamped it directly onto the bag.
Here's my finished bag.  I tied some lace and ribbon onto the handle to finish it off.
I hope you like it.  I LOVE how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a blessed Friday!

Easy Gift Bag Idea

I'm still so in love with Graphic 45 papers!!  I had a baby gift I needed to wrap.  Who buys wrapping paper anymore?  I had some plain white gift bags.  Thought I'd use the G45 Little Darlings Paper.

The Welcome Baby stamp is from Inkadinkado.  Some seam binding and fussy cutting -VIOLA'

Friday Feature-Gelatos & fabric

I've just gotten some gelatos.  Wanted to give them a try.
The gift bag was plain white.
I started by drawing some circles with yellow, grey and pink.
To activate them, you use water.  I used my aqua painter and "painted" the background.

My second step was to use my script stamp and brown archival ink.
I then took a small stamp (it came with my set of gelatos) and stamped randomly with pigment inks.
I used yellow & pale green.
To make my flowers, I collaged fabric onto a packaging envelope (pulled out of the trash) then ran it thru my big shot using a Stampin Up die.  I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage photo ink.  Added some pearl embellishments for the centers.  The leaves were cut with my cricut.
As always, I wanted to bring in something vintage-so I layered string pearls, lace & ribbon to tie my tag to the handle.
I attached my flowers with dimensionals.  If you've ever used them-they stick really well.
Hope this will inspired you to make your own gift bag.

As always-you can get most of these supplies from our shop @ Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium -the prices are ALWAYS 20-25% lower than retail.

Tim Holtz Stickers

Happy Friday!!!!
Who loves Tim Holtz stuff??
Almost everyone I know! LOL

I've been hoarding a package of Salvage Stickers.
I thought I'd use them to decorate a gift bag.

I first stamped the whole front and back of the kraft bag with a script stamp. I love those!
I used Black Stazon ink.
I then layered several of the stickers.
I then stamped Happy Birthday on a piece of book page. I stamped another one to use as a mask and then sponged red berries distress ink around the edge. I backed it on black card stock.  Added a few red rhinestones for some color.

I really like how it ended up.
Having a "manly" gift bag is always a plus.
