Mother Goose Mini Album

This Graphic 45 designer paper is so stinking cute!

I followed their April Challenge guidelines the best I could.
(I thought they were a little hard to follow)
I love how it turned out!  The colors is this paper line are basic and make a bold statement.
I did some fussy cutting with the adorable images found in the paper line.
The solid black photo mats really tie the album together.
Below on the pocket page I used one of Retta's stencils.  Make A Wish. I thought it added a nice touch.

You can purchase the Graphic 45 Designer Paper, Retta's Stencils, punches, die cuts, inks, adhesives-everything I've used  at Robyn's Store.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a terrific Friday!!

I love Graphic 45 paper. Do you?

Today I'm featuring their Mother Goose series.
It's full of the basic color scheme: red, yellow, blue and green.  Can't go wrong with those!
The base is a die cut pocket page.
The pocket holds 2 large photo mats.

Decorate Pilar Candles for Christmas

There are several ways you can decorate a candle.
Using Archival ink, stamp your image/sentiment onto tissue paper.
You can color your image.  I used markers and gelatos with a paint brush.
In the past I've also colored with pencils. Even though the tissue paper is delicate, it's amazing how well you can color it without ripping it.
Cut it out as close as possible.
lay the image onto your candle and cover it with a piece of was paper. You want the waxy side facing the candle.  Heat it with heat gun and it magically melts the tissue paper into the candle!
I love doing this-amazes me every time!!
I tried stamping directly onto the candle with a word stamp and brown archival ink.  It ended up smearing off. I think it was the finish on my candle?  I ended up taking a paper towel and wiping it off.   The candle on the left is the sentiment and image (cut two different pieces) and melted them on.
The I took minimal embellishments and added to them.  I was really fun.
Use buttons, ribbon, flowers, lace, cardstock-whatever you want!

You can find the supplies: cardstock, archival ink, distress ink, prima flowers, lace, trim, Kaiser Craft and Graphic 45 Christmas designer papers, ribbon at our store.  Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium  PRICES ARE DISCOUNTED DAILY 20-25%

Easy Gift Bag Idea

I'm still so in love with Graphic 45 papers!!  I had a baby gift I needed to wrap.  Who buys wrapping paper anymore?  I had some plain white gift bags.  Thought I'd use the G45 Little Darlings Paper.

The Welcome Baby stamp is from Inkadinkado.  Some seam binding and fussy cutting -VIOLA'

How many projects can you make with 8 pages??

Happy Friday!
I hope you've had a fabulous week.

Instead of a technique today-I challenged myself to make as many things possible using 8 sheets of Graphic 45 paper.
Since I have a tendency to jump from one theme to another, I thought it would be more productive to keep using what was already out on my work space.

I've used the Le Cirque paper-but you could use whatever paper line you have.

Saturday I started making Accordian Photo holders:

 I made them 4.5 x 6. I started with cream cardstock.

Monday & Tuesday I made some cards:

Wednesday I made 2 layouts:

Then I made another card:

I DID NOT use it all!  I've still got lots of bits and pieces.  I gathered up the left overs and put them in a plastic bag to use in the future.

So are you ready for the deal of the week??  Robyn is discounting the Graphic 45 paper!!

Check it out here:  Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium

Have a great weekend.

Chritmas in July-Vintage Tag

Happy Friday!

We're winding down with Christmas in July.  I wanted to share a Christmas tag I made today.

I wanted to encourage you to stretch outside the box on creating Christmas themes.
Today I used Graphic 45 French Country paper for most of my tag. I did sneak in a small square of Tim Holtz paper with the Christmas words.

I have a new stamp from Hampton Arts: Square Face Frame.  I definitely wanted to use her some way.

So here's what I came up with:

I mounted my face onto a piece of cardboard, colored her with prisma pencils.  Coated it with glossy accents.
I have a small piece of cheese cloth in the back, some lace and velvet ribbon on the bottom.  A couple of vintage buttons.
I love how it turned out!
I hope this inspires you to get your Christmas groove on!!

You can find all the products I used at our shop  HERE-Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium

Our prices are always 20-25% off retail.
